Join us for a 2-week mentoring program for string chamber music!
More About our
At our two week musical retreat, you will prepare and perform one complete string quartet and one complete string quintet or piano quintet, have daily coachings and rehearsal with world-class faculty, study your repertoire from a historical/theoretical perspective, attend classes and concerts, and perform for enthusiastic audiences.
Although the Manitou Chamber Music Festival is geared toward established groups, experienced individual chamber musicians are also encouraged to apply. Because the high quality of our program requires a substantial amount of direct interaction with our faculty, we accept only a small number of applicants. We encourage you to apply early for your best chance of admission. Applications will be due by March 1st, 2020.
The main concert venue, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, is a historic stone church dating from 1870. Classes and coachings take place at the Manitou Art Center.

Applications will be accepted from both groups and individuals, with preference given to preformed groups.
